Slot Olympics at Vera & John Casino Host

Slot Olympics at Vera & John Casino Host.

While it’s certainly not news that Vera and John Casino host a number of slot tournaments each and every week, the popular online gambling destination will be doing things a little bit differently this month as they invite you to compete in their own slot Olympics with the 2016 VJ Games.

Established with more than a passing nod to the upcoming Olympics in Rio, Vera & John Casino’s latest promotion will see players compete for a share of £60,000 – but only if they can first battle their way through three highly competitive preliminary rounds to reach the final.

Unfortunately, unlike in Vera & John Casino’s weekly slot tournaments where you can simply open up the selected game and start playing, in order to participate in the VJ Games you will have to pay an entry fee – and this can be done in two ways. Players can either purchase a direct ticket to the VJ Games in the casino’s loyalty shop or make a deposit of a certain size to be granted admission.

The cost of admission varies depending on which round of the Games you decide to enter, but at the first (and current) level, players will either have to part with 250 coins in the VIP store or make a deposit of at least £100 in order to participate. This will grant them 30 free spins on the game of the day that they have chosen to play, with the aim being to get the highest single winning spin possible.

Rank among the top 25 players using any one of your 30 free spins and you’ll receive a £5 cash prize and three tickets to the next round of the games. Here, the process will repeat in much the same manner, with players again receiving 30 free spins and needing to rank among the top 25 to progress. All players that make the cut will this time receive a £10 prize and two tickets to Round 3.

With Round 3 being the last step that players can buy into directly if they choose not to go down the qualifying route, each ticket will now entitle you to 40 free spins with the top 50 players progressing into the finals. There it will become a straight out sprint to the finish line, with finalists being awarded another 40 free spins and the top-ranking player receiving a gold medal prize of £12,500.

Silver and bronze medal prizes of £5,000 and £2,500 are also awarded for the other players to make the podium, while the remaining £40,000 in prize money will be shared out between all remaining players. If your head is starting to swim with numbers, however, don’t despair – simply check out our handy timetable below for a full list of dates, entry fees and qualifying numbers for each round.
