Though not actually featuring any bonus rounds per se, the Aliens slot machine plays like a feature from start to finish thanks to three unique reel-based games that change as player progress further through the levels. The first level begins like any other NetEnt mobile slot, with a five-reel, 15-payline gameboard adorned with different stages of xenomorph evolution, which award progressively bigger prizes.

Starting with two clips of ammo, the marine will open fire on aliens in the area at the end of each spin at the cost of one clip. Should they run out of ammo, they’ll be killed in action and mobile casino players will be returned to stage two. In order to survive the round, players will have to pick up enough ammo to make it through ten spins, making it very difficult to progress to round three without a tonne of luck.

Should you make it that far, however, the final round is where the biggest prizes are in store. You’ll have now entered the xenomorph hive and must use your grenades to destroy it. At the start of the round, players will be awarded five re-spins, with each spin awarding a random-strength grenade and a multiplier, which are both combined to decide how much damage you do. The hive health metre has four steps, with each completed step awarding a bigger prize when the re-spins finish.

As you can see, the Aliens slot is a complicated title that plays more like a video game than a conventional slot.
