Mr Green Pens Playtech Deal

Mr Green Pens Playtech Deal

According to a joint statement issued by Mr Green and Playtech this week, the two companies have reached an agreement which will see the popular online casino use the software giant’s Open Platform system to bring hundreds of new slot games to their customers over the coming weeks.

Known colloquially as POP, the Playtech Open Platform allows clients to access more than 600 Playtech slots, including Ash Gaming titles – which are also owned and operated by the company – and Mr Green Casino will now join the likes of bet365 and LeoVegas as official Playtech partners.

Speaking of the new deal, Chief Operating Officer at Playtech, Shimon Akad said: “We’re delighted Mr Green is joining the industry’s most dynamic and accessible Open Platform. They are a rapidly-growing casino brand and will benefit greatly from having access to our vast, best-performing content portfolio. We have big plans for the platform and our content in 2016.”

Bo Wänghammar, Chief Executive Officer at Mr Green Casino, was equally enthusiastic about the recently-reached agreement, stating: “Mr Green has a pronounced focus on large and regulated markets. Playtech has a very strong presence in the UK. Mr Green and Playtech is a great match and this collaboration will set Playtech games in the environment of Mr Green’s award-winning casino.”

Certainly, if the LeoVegas deal is anything to go by, customers at Mr Green Casino will soon have access to the full range of Ash Gaming titles, including Full Moon Fortune and the TV-franchised Little Britain, as well as several established Playtech favourites like The Avengers and Great Blue.

With these new titles expected to be phased in at the casino throughout April, current players at Mr Green will still be able to access the casino’s existing range of slots from established providers like NetEnt, Microgaming and IGT. New players drawn to the site by the Playtech deal, meanwhile, will be able to enjoy a 100% deposit match up to £200 and 100 free spins on Marvellous Mr Green.
